Two Maricopa Community College Talent Centers Get Multi-Million Dollar Federal Job-Education Grant

Maricopa Neighborhood Colleges announced today that two of its skill centers will obtain portion of a $ 10 million federal job-instruction grant co-administered by the U.S. Departments of Labor and Education.

A total of $ ten million was awarded to a consortium led by Central Arizona College and partners GateWay Neighborhood College’s Maricopa Skill Center (MSC), Estrella Mountain Community College’s SouthWest Ability Center (SWSC), and Eastern Arizona College. MSC and SWSC each will acquire $ two.1 million. MSC will deliver enhanced Manual and CNC Machinist programs.
